A perfect Chardonnay! Very balanced with a creamy finish and still it has great acidity leaving a wonderful fresh length to it. A lovely vintage and example of la Côte Chalonnaise.

Louis Jadot: Domaine Duc de Magenta: Puligny – Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Garenne 2010
Heavenly! This Chardonnay has a beautiful golden robe with a bouquet of apricot and acacia. A well-balanced, slightly buttery wine with undertones of wood and a lingering finish with hints of mineral. Would love a bottomless bottle of it. This vintage is a classic Puligny-Montrachet.

Aurelio Settimo: Riserva Rocche Barolo Nebbiolo 2004
A beautiful, rustic brick red tone that feeds the eyes before it feeds the palate.
It has a vegetal yet earthy bouquet with a multi-layer appeal and a flavor that improved as the tannins softened. This is a drinkable vintage providing that it’s decanted.

Domaine Maillard Père & Fils: Chorey-les-Beaune 2014
This Chardonnay has a light, glistening lemon-lime color. It has hints of oak with notes of brioche and lemon. A well balanced wine with great acidity and a crisp, long finish.

Jean-Luc & Paul Aegerter: Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir
This Chablis has a pale, light, golden straw color with luminosity and golden reflections. A clean, medium intensity on the nose with hints of lime flower. It also has some grassiness and mineral scents. Quite a bit of freshness, to this developed or aging vintage, thanks to the balance of body, alcohol and most of all the acidity. This Chablis Vaudésir has medium intensity, with white flowers, lemon and mineral flavors on the palate. This Grand Cru definitely shows its finesse and character. There are also secondary and tertiary flavors of undergrowth and almond. Once it opens up, the length goes on forever. This wine has definite viscosity, and is ready to drink, although its freshness indicates that it would keep for a bit longer as well.
